The second article released under this special Marvel collection drew
inspiration from the character Black Panther. "Griot's design is
inspired by the purple radiance of vibranium or the distinctive armor of Black
Panther when in dynamic motion, such as fighting enemies," said
Octrisany D. Putra. "We translated the movement of Black Panther into
an indigo sublimation print combined with Ortuseight's gold logo,"
continued this Product Design Manager from Ortuseight. "The result
ensures that these shoes will undoubtedly look fashionable and eye-striking on
the running field," he concluded.
Furthermore, Griot not only
embodies design inspired by the character Black Panther, but also incorporates
DNA from the Hypersonic series, which is Ortuseight's first carbon-plated shoe.
With the tagline "Your Flying Machine," Hypersonic also
features Ultra Propulsion and Responsive Midsole technology. Additionally,
Griot boasts responsive cushioning and neutral stability, making it suitable
for training and racing, ranging from 5K, 10K, to half-marathons. With these
advantages, Griot is highly competent to be worn as a runner's tool for exercises
like Tempo Run, Threshold Run, and Long Run.
While on the technology side,
Griot also features the OrtFlow highlight feature on the upper part, which
involves the use of mono mesh material and PU Nosew for ventilation in specific
positions aimed at maximizing airflow in the shoes, ensuring that the feet
always feel cool. In the midsole, there is the StratusFoam technology with
Compression PU Foam material that is soft and lightweight, providing comfort
and durability. Additionally, OrtShox in the midsole is a design technology
where the shoe follows the contour of the foot, allowing the foot to
comfortably step on a soft yet responsive cushion. This technology also
provides good grip from the foot to the shoe's insole to prevent slipping
during use. Finally, for the outsole material, Griot uses Rubber Hardness 55.
