Through
its running sports brand under PT Vita Nova Atletik, Ortuseightrunning
invites all Marvel enthusiasts in Indonesia to prepare for the release of their
special Marvel themed edition for the second time. "After the
successful launch of the Marvel Special Edition by Ortuseight at the end of
last year, this year Ortuseight has decided to add to our Marvel-Inspired
collection," said Ayu Putri Wulandari, a representative from
Ortuseight.
Last year, there were eleven
articles featuring characters such as Iron Man, Thor, Captain Marvel, and
Captain America. This year, Ortuseight will add six articles that will be
released starting in September 2024. These six shoes consist of three series of
running shoes and three series of walking shoes. The six shoes are inspired by
four iconic Marvel characters: Venom, Black Panther, Captain America, and
Deadpool.

Symbiote is the first release
under Ortuseight’s second
special Marvel series, inspired by the character Venom. Falling into the
running category, these shoes feature a design that is effective and
functional. "Symbiote takes DNA from Ortuseightrunning Hyperglide,"
added Ayu, "Hyperglide is known for its excellence in Tempo Run,
Threshold Run, Interval Run, Fartlek, and Hill Sprint workouts."
In addition to bringing
technology from the Hyperglide series with the tagline "Fast &
Vigorous," Symbiote is also capable of being used for races such as
5K-10K to half marathons, "so it feels fitting for this running series
to carry the slogan ""Fast & Vigorous,"" concluded
Ayu.
Inspired by the character
Venom, who is the result of an alien
symbiote merged with a human, the concepts of “duality” and “transformation”
served as inspiration for Ortuseight in the design of these shoes. The detailed
black interweaving pattern on the midsole, leading to the upper part, depicts
that Symbiote is designed to emit a bold power to its users.

On the technology side,
OrtFlow is embedded in the upper part of the Symbiote with mono-mesh material
and PU Nosew for ventilation in specific positions aimed at maximizing airflow
inside the shoes to keep the feet cool. Meanwhile, in the midsole, there is
OrtShox and CumulusFoam technology made of soft and lightweight Injection
Phylon material, designed to provide comfort when wearing the shoes so that it
feels like walking on clouds. This technology also allows the shoes to follow
the contour of the feet, enabling comfortable stepping on the soft but
responsive padding while providing good grip from the feet to the shoe's insole
to prevent slipping when in use. The responsive Phylon midsole material also
enables Symbiote to provide a faster and maximum running experience. Symbiote
is also equipped with outsole material made of Rubber Hardness 55.
