HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?

Playing in the national team jersey is surely the dream of every football player. When I was first called up for the national selection, I felt a bit nervous because I had to compete with top and talented players from all over Indonesia. But I believe that by staying focused, working hard, praying, and giving my maximum performance, I am able to excel because every individual has an equal opportunity to represent the national team as long as they accompany it with hard work.

When did you first start playing football?

I started playing football from a young age. Fortunately, my whole family loves football.

Who is the most inspiring figure for you in the world of football?

The first figure is my father, and the second is my uncle, and also my coach, Uncle Rudy Kelcest.

What is the most memorable experience you have had during your football career?

The most memorable experience is playing in inter-village matches. It was a memorable experience for me because I learned about life and the importance of family there.

In your opinion, what is the most important preparation before a match?

In terms of rituals, the most important preparation is being physically fit and well-rested.

Is there a special story behind naming your first son Messi?

Ideally, yes. Since Messi has been my idol since childhood, I hope to name my child Messi. I hope he becomes a better player than me. But as a parent, I don't want to force anything. The most important thing is for Messi, my child, to be pious and successful in both this world and the hereafter.
